This course caters to all employees within the oil and gas industry who will either partake in or be influenced by lockout/tagout procedures. This course covers training requirements under OSHA section 5 (a)(1) General Duty Clause, 29 CFR 1910 Subpart J, 1910.147, Subpart R, Subpart S, 29 CFR 1926 Subpart K, Subpart Q.

Participants will understand the significance of adhering to proper lockout/tagout procedures, the roles designated to workers authorized to carry out these procedures, the lock and tag systems utilized for lockout/tagout, and the unique provisions associated with lockout/tagout programs.
