This training is intended for general industry employees in Canada who are required to work in or around areas defined as confined spaces. 

Course Topics

• Introduction and objectives
• Identify types of permit-required and non-permit confined spaces
• Identify potential hazards in confined spaces
• Identify assigned duties and responsibilities in and around confined spaces
• Identify hazard controls for confined space work
• Identify emergency procedures for confined space entry

Course Objectives

Employees will learn how to identify confined spaces, their hazards, methods used to control those hazards and the regulations regarding "permit-required" confined spaces.
