Basic First Aid

At any given moment and in any location, emergencies may arise. This training program aims to educate employees on fundamental first aid protocols and their practical application in real-life situations. Participants will be instructed on identifying the necessary steps for administering basic first aid and gaining proficiency in recognizing symptoms and protocols for common first aid scenarios.

This course covers topics under OSHA 1910.151 and OSHA 29 CFR 1926.23.

• Identify the steps for basic first aid
• Recognize the symptoms and procedures for common breathing problems
• Recognize the symptoms and procedures for chest pains, heart problems and stroke
• Recognize the symptoms and procedures for bleeding injuries
• Recognize the symptoms and procedures for burns and thermal injuries
• Recognize the symptoms and procedures for musculoskeletal injuries
• Recognize the symptoms and procedures for other common emergencies
